Slow Down Ladies!

Because I’m exhausted and tired right now, I find it fitting to talk about how we as women all too often forget to think about us and our needs. We all know the daily schedules that make our lives chaotic. Get up, grab breakfast on the go (or not at all), run to work, work all day, think about work on the way home, pick up the kids, tend to the pets, cook dinner, clean up, have family time, workout, go grocery shopping, run the kids to sports, go to bed, think about the things we need to do tomorrow while trying to fall asleep…the list could go on. If that is not your lifestyle, congrats and good for you. I admire you. If it does remind you of yourself, I challenge you to slow down. Make one of your kids or your husband help you take something off your plate. During that time, read, journal, do something you love. Twenty minutes every couple days of doing something you have a passion for can make a huge impact on your overall health, wellbeing, and most obviously….your happiness!
I’m writing this for all of us to take a reality check right now. How are you really doing with taking care of yourself within your daily demands of life?
Take care of yourself ladies and don’t forget to enjoy your life. You only have one opportunity to live it here on earth and be with the people you love. Don’t take life for granted by getting caught up in your busy schedules!
